TJLAW Shearing Supplies
TJLAW Shearing Supplies has been involved in the shearing industry since 1993. Principal Tao Jiang, together with renowned shearing gear expert John Hand, played a key role in introducing Chinese-made shearing combs and cutters into the Australian and New Zealand markets.
Between 1994 and 2024, Tao and John worked closely with Chinese manufacturers, including brands such as Beiyuan, Ace and Expert, helping them develop the capability to produce shearing gear to the high standards they required.
In 2025, Tao established her own factory in China to ensure full control over quality. All TJLAW-branded combs and cutters are now manufactured under very strict quality control standards. Using premium-grade steel, advanced production equipment and the latest manufacturing technology, TJLAW produces gear designed to enter well, cut well and perform straight out of the box.

Tao (Jean) holds an engineering qualification and has been involved in the shearing gear industry since her early 20s.
She maintains a strong focus on quality control, understanding that product quality is essential to performance and reputation. With hands-on industry experience, she understands what shearers need and how to manufacture reliable, high-quality gear.
In addition, Tao is a qualified accountant and a Notary Public in Australia. She is the Principal Lawyer of TJLAW Lawyers in Australia and also practises as a Barrister in New Zealand.
